How to Use a Home Treadmill

More often belly is the area where most people focus greatly, especially when they want to slim down. It’s because a flat stomach is often seen as a sign of ultimate fitness. Burning or losing belly fat would not only make you look better, but would also go a long way in improving your health.

Diseases such as heart disease, some cancers, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure are linked to the fat in the abdominal area. If you wish to trim your waist, then you need to eat a nutritious diet, workout regularly that also includes cardiovascular exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. For working out, you’d obviously need a treadmill. It’s an effective exercise tool that helps you lose belly fat efficiently.

Losing belly fat with a treadmill is extremely easy provided you do it properly. Given ahead are some tips on how you can lose belly fat with the help of a treadmill.

You need to run on a treadmill as it’s one of the most effective cardiovascular exercises that can be performed. A study reveals that running for 15 minutes on a treadmill burns roughly 400 calories.
Running needs an exertion of energy that gets your heart going and calories and fat burning.

The other way is to walk or run on intervals on a treadmill. Including intervals in your exercise program is another way to boost fat and calorie burn. Between running and walking, you can run through the entire interval workout. Just sprint for 30 to 50 seconds after warming up and then recover at a slower pace for about 2 minutes.

By setting the treadmill on an incline, you can increase your calorie burn while you tone your core abs, glutes and legs.  You can jog uphill, walk quickly, and even slow down at any time on a treadmill. Click here for more about treadmill.

By using a treadmill, you can not only lose your abdominal fat, but can also lose overall weight.

  2. I believe that cardiovascular exercises are very important in losing weight, but I think that running on a threadmill is not as effective as interval cardio training. It is a type of cardiovascular exercise where you sprint for a short period of time such as 30 seconds, and you jog slowly for 60 seconds. Continue and repeat this cycle for a total intensity which challenges you such that it stretches your physical limits by a little each time. Progressive training is key.

Take note though that exercise must also be combined together with a diet for weight loss for your weight loss transformation to come true.
